Extract the ZIP archive
Download talkscout-connect-extension.zip and extract it to a permanent folder on your computer (e.g. Documents\TalkScout).
Open Browser Extensions Page
In Microsoft Edge, go to edge://extensions. In Google Chrome, go to chrome://extensions.
Enable "Developer mode" and Load Unpacked
Toggle the Developer mode switch (in the top right on Chrome, or bottom left on Edge). Then click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted folder.
Open WhatsApp Web & Enjoy
Open https://web.whatsapp.com. The TalkScout Connect icon and candidate outreach sidebar will appear automatically!
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the browser say 'This file isn't commonly downloaded'?
Browsers (like Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome) flag files from newly registered domains until hundreds of users have downloaded them. Click the three dots (...) -> Keep -> Show more -> Keep anyway.
How do I log in to the extension?
Click the TalkScout Connect icon in your browser toolbar or on WhatsApp Web. Enter your registered email ([email protected]) to unlock full syncing with your Cloud CRM.
Can I install this on multiple computers?
Yes! Simply download the installer or run the PowerShell one-liner on any Windows machine. Your candidate records sync automatically across all devices via the Cloud CRM.
